Order policy Due to the nature of our products, we have a policy of only selling to persons aged 18 or over. This applies to all products sold on the Mantis models and hobbies webstore, over the phone, or any other channel that we sell through. In agreeing to these terms and conditions, and in placing your order, you are confirming that you are aged at least 18 years.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days of the order being placed. Orders will usually be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class for UK orders.
If you do not receive your goods within 30 days of the date that the order was placed, then Mantis models and hobbies has no liability to you unless notified in writing within 40 days of the order being placed. Notifications of non-delivery should be made by emailing us at info@mantismodels.co.uk.
Orders which are refused upon a delivery attempt, or not collected from the carrier depot after a failed delivery attempt, if subsequently returned to us, may incur a re-stocking fee. We reserve the right for this to be at our discretion. Sales taxes We are currently not a VAT registered business, so there is no VAT applicable to the sale. The price seen is the price paid for a product (excluding shipping costs) Accuracy of information We make every effort to ensure that our products are described and pictured as accurately as possible at the time you place an order on our webstore. This includes making sure that our prices are correct. However, if a pricing error does occur, and we discover the error before the order is dispatched, we will contact you and give you the option to either proceed with the order at the correct price (with the difference being refunded or charged depending on overpricing/underpricing respectively), or for the order to be cancelled and an immediate full refund provided to you. For the continued supply of products, and variability in chemicals/pigments available, we reserve the right to minor changes in consistency, colour, strength, dimensions and packaging of our products without prior notice. We reserve the right to discontinue production/stocking of our products at any time, without prior notice, and as such cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused by disruption of supply for a current project. If, during transit, your order requires customs clearance then it will be the sole responsibility of the ‘importer’ (customer) to provide relevant documentation. Mantis models and hobbies accepts no liability for any of our products which are seized or delayed due to customs, or any costs that arise from this, including any import taxes / duties. Website security We take the security of our customers very seriously when placing orders through us. We don’t take or store any customers’ payment details, and we use trusted, secure payment gateways for processing the transactions. We do collect customers’ delivery and contact details necessary for the delivery and order notification procedure, and these details are collected and processed with care and in accordance with UK law, and are never sold on to third parties.
